I was lucky enough to live with Tessa for about a year in DC, a recipient of her kindness and joy and humor and immense love for her family. Tessa was the person who invited you in and made you feel right at home, fully able to be yourself. I was always impacted by the way she lived for others and did everything in her power to give back to the community around her.
I miss our Right Proper dates (with the Brussel sprouts of course), our morning coffee walks, discussions of the new Taylor Swift albums, and Tessa’s endless kindness and support. There was no one like her.
