I first met Tessa as she volunteered with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF). Despite her own difficulties navigating treatments, she gave so much of herself to this community. As a volunteer, she offered personal support to those who requested help from a mentor. Tessa wanted to make another's journey better by taking a load of overwhelm off their shoulders, offering encouragement and resources, and being a friend. She never said no to a volunteer ask and was a terrific advocate and a volunteer for the patient and caregiver mentoring program. Tessa's grace, positivity, and attitude inspire me every day. She will be greatly missed!
