In Share Your Memory
I feel truly blessed to have known Tessa.  I first met Tessa and her parents, Robin and Todd, at Johns Hopkins when both Tessa and my late husband, Scott, were going through cancer treatment.  We felt an instant connection with the Wiseman family. And Scott quickly developed a close bond with Tessa over their mutual love of running as well as their shared love of life, desire to help others, and positive attitude!  Tessa’s beautiful light was contagious…she always had a big smile when greeting others, lived her life to the fullest with her many wonderful accomplishments, treated those in need with great compassion despite any obstacle she was personally facing, and impacted many with her kind heart. She often let me know that she was thinking of Scott during her races and even added his name to her bib tag to “carry him with her” while running which greatly touched me.  Jake, Tara, Matthew, and I send our deepest condolences. May Tessa’s memory always be a blessing and may we all strive to follow the wonderful example she set.
